Lisa Bailey

Manager and Designated Safeguarding Lead

Lisa Bailey is our Mannamead Manager and Safeguarding Officer. Lisa has a Degree in BA Childhood Studies, is a trained Forest School practitioner and possesses ELKLAN Speech and Language qualification. Lisa oversees the needs of our Communication and Language area. She is in charge of the day-to-day running of the pre-school and of meeting welfare requirements. Lisa and her team ensure the pre-school offers inclusive play and learning opportunities for all children attending the setting whilst maintaining a safe, stimulating and enjoyable environment for children to develop and learn.

Kate Newcombe

Kate joined the Little Owls team in September 2019. She brings a large amount of childcare knowledge and experience, both professionally and personally.
Kate has worked in a range of settings with a vast variety of children. She has experience of working with children with additional education needs as well as children complex medical needs.

Pauline Randall

Pre-school Assistant

Pauline Randall is one of our pre-school assistants and is responsible for providing a safe, fun and stimulating environment. Pauline is qualified in Children’s Care Learning and Development Level 2, Pauline continues to build on her vast experience by completing recognised professional courses. She also acts as Deputy Fire Warden and Deputy Health and Safety Officer for the pre-school.

Amelia Perry

CACHE Level 3

Amelia has worked at Little Owls Preschool for many years, gaining a vast amount of knowledge and skills with a mix of children. After shadowing our previous SENCO, Amelia has now taken on the role, developing our SEN support even further. She has a particular interest in language development and works closely with our children who have English as an additional language and/or have a speech delay. Amelia is always happy to make herself available if any parents/carers have any concerns or questions about their child and the support we can offer.

Catherine Fisher

Level 4 Certificate in Education
Preschool Room Leader

Catherine has many years experience in the Early Years sector. She joins us having had experience of leading a small team within a preschool with emphasis on helping prepare the children for the transition of going to school. Catherine brings with her many exciting ideas for helping the children grow and develop, as well as her love for messy play! She also has experience with SEN children and has great knowledge on how to help each individual child thrive.
